Introducing Claude Cowork with Daylite

AI is evolving at an incredible pace. New models, tools, and workflows appear almost weekly, and the industry is still discovering what creates lasting value in real-world business environments.

With Daylite, our focus has always been on building thoughtful, reliable tools that enhance your workflows. With AI, this means understanding where it will genuinely improve the way you work and, just as importantly, where it won’t, before bringing it into Daylite.

And that time is almost here!

Connected Context

What we know is that AI is only as good as the data and context behind it. Without the right data, or when information is incomplete or disconnected, the quality, relevance, and accuracy of its responses can suffer. That’s where Daylite has a natural advantage.

Daylite has always been built around connecting the information that matters to your business. People, companies, emails, meetings, projects, opportunities, tasks, notes, and your business history work together to create a complete picture of your client relationships.

Features like Mail in Daylite, Google Calendar Sync, Meeting Links, and the relationships between records were built to help you manage your business more effectively by capturing and connecting more of the work you do every day.

Daylite’s model happens to be exactly what AI needs to produce more accurate, relevant, and genuinely useful results.

Bringing AI and Daylite Together

We’ve added a local MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to Daylite, allowing Claude Cowork to connect directly with Daylite. The following video offers an early look at what’s possible when AI can access the richness of your Daylite history.

Here, you’re seeing how Claude Cowork, connected to Daylite through MCP, reviews Opportunities forecasted over the next three months, highlights at-risk Opportunities, then generates a PDF briefing ready to share with your team—transforming connected business data into practical, actionable insights.

Building and Using AI Responsibly

What we’re sharing today will continue to evolve, with very deliberate decisions and evaluations about what AI can and can’t do inside Daylite. For example, the AI can only access authorized data, and it cannot erase anything. As the platform evolves, we’ll continue balancing powerful functionality with safety and reliability.

It’s also important for you as a user of AI to understand how AI services handle your information. When you connect Daylite to an AI tool, that data travels to the AI providers servers, and their privacy terms take over, not ours. Before connecting any AI service to your business data, we encourage you to read the provider’s terms, understand how they handle your data, and decide deliberately. If your database contains information covered by client confidentiality or regulatory requirements, that decision requires thought before you connect anything.
